Description
Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth analysis of sovereign issuers across emerging markets to identify valuable investment opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess creditworthiness and relative value
- Incorporate sustainability considerations into investment recommendations
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders across global offices
- Present findings and investment cases to the broader investment team
- Participate in strategic discussions on market trends and portfolio positioning
- Engage directly with issuers through meetings and presentations
Requirements:
- Proven track record analysing emerging market sovereign debt, particularly in Asia
- Demonstrated ability to generate profitable investment ideas across hard and local currency instruments
- Strong understanding of ESG factors in sovereign risk assessment
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed
