TripLink International (UK) Limited ("TripLink UK") is a UK-incorporated B2B payment company currently applying for a UK Electronic Money Institution ("EMI") licence. At TripLink, we deliver seamless, secure, and compliant B2B payment solutions through virtual commercial cards (VCC).

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operations & Finance Manager to oversee both UK and Netherlands operations. This expanded role includes oversight of outsourced operational functions as well as safeguarding arrangements, treasury operations, and financial controls.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, financial integrity, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal teams across Europe and Asia and external banking, outsourcing, and operational partners.

This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and a strategic mindset, looking to grow in the payments and fintech industry.

In this Role, you'll get to:

Safeguarding & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with UK and EU regulatory requirements regarding the safeguarding of customer funds.
• Monitor and report on safeguarding measures, conduct regular audits, and implement improvements.
• Work with compliance and risk teams to manage and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Finance & Treasury

• Execute daily reconciliation procedures; confirm reconciliation results, investigate anomalies, and coordinate fixes with teams and partners.
• Manage banking relationships, accounts, cash flow, liquidity, and treasury products across UK & Netherlands.
• Oversee multi-currency settlement processes with card schemes and clients; troubleshoot settlement issues across internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse card scheme and transaction data (revenues, costs, trends, volatility, acceptance rates); provide insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Prepare financial reports and strategic analyses for management; support budgeting, pricing, and long-term business planning.
• Contribute to treasury strategy including liquidity management, FX risk, derivatives, and bank business development.

Operations

• Oversee both in-house and outsourced operations functions, ensuring service quality, compliance, and efficiency.
• Support the build-out and optimisation of internal controls, processes, and operational mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with global teams (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Amsterdam) to provide local insights and operational feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, controls, and efficiency across UK & Netherlands operations.
• Ensure smooth scheme and channel integration and support implementation of new product features.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; advanced degree or professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
• 4+ years' experience in finance, operations, or treasury, ideally in fintech, payments, or e-money institutions.
• Proven experience with reconciliation, safeguarding, settlement, and treasury in a multi-currency environment.
• Experience managing outsourced operations and cross-border teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work across cultures and geographies.
• Based in the UK (with oversight of Netherlands).
