Description
Enhance client experience as a Middle Office Associate. Join our global team and impact Prime Financial Services!As a Prime Financial Services Associate Associate in the Prime Financial Services (PFS) Middle Office Client Facing Team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational client experience across our PFS client base. You will have extensive interaction and communication with clients, as well as collaboration with various global internal teams. You will leverage your technical and communication skills to drive client change effectively, ensuring timely completion of transaction management and resolution of exceptions. You will also provide subject matter expertise to our hedge fund clients.
Job responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis for respective clients to increase Straight Through Processing (STP) and reduce client inquiries, often using analytical tools
- Establish and maintain relationships with high-profile hedge fund clients through regular dialogue and meetings to comply with "Ease of doing business" initiatives
- Manage the end-to-end transaction management lifecycle for respective client coverage, including trade capture, settlement exceptions, and cash management
- Deliver on the change agenda by partnering with the technology/strategy team to deliver system enhancements
- Work as part of the global team, performing follow-the-sun handoffs to ensure smooth global coverage for global clients
- Partner with the technology strategy team to identify internal and external technology improvement opportunities
- Maintain a high level of client service focus
- Understand the control agenda to prioritize and escalate risk issues timely
- Provide operations subject matter expertise to clients as required
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet internal and external deadlines/cutoffs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Have a strong knowledge of the Swap product
- Have a keen interest in financial products
- Possess knowledge of global markets and settlement practices
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organization
- Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, prioritizing work to achieve them
- Demonstrate strong computing skills in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace that encourages integrating new technologies to eliminate manual processes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prime Brokerage experience
