Collin County is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of Asset Management Technician. Facilitates elections operations by testing and conducting in-house repair of voting equipment, supervising outsourced repair, spot testing and charge monitoring of equipment, conducting security key reset changes, utilizing inventory tracking software, developing delivery routes and truck rental schedules, proofing supply updates, proofing and testing of database, backing up the GEMS management software, downloading memory cards from database for installation in voting equipment, and conducting logic and accuracy testing on voting machines. Performs other duties as assigned. Work is performed under the direction of the Deputy Elections Administrator.
Work requires knowledge usually acquired by four years of high school or equivalent. Must have at least one year of experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Class C Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
