A leading global asset management firm is seeking an Associate Director to support and grow its Wholesale Distribution business across Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on Global and Regional Private Banks.
The organisation is well regarded for its long history in active asset management, strong investment capabilities across public and private markets, and a disciplined, research‑led investment culture. With a significant global footprint, it partners closely with institutional and private wealth clients worldwide. The Singapore office serves as a key hub for distribution activities across Southeast Asia.

The Role
This role sits within the SEA Wholesale team and focuses on commercial relationship management and business development within the Private Bank channel. Working closely with senior sales leadership, you will help drive client engagement, support strategic growth initiatives and strengthen partnerships with key distribution platforms across the region.
The position is well suited for candidates with experience covering private banks or wealth intermediaries, who enjoy client interaction, product engagement and long‑term relationship building in a collaborative, team‑based sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support coverage of Global and Regional Private Banks across Southeast Asia, in partnership with senior wholesale sales leaders
• Build and deepen relationships with key stakeholders within private banking platforms and wealth intermediaries
• Execute wholesale sales activities including product presentations, client meetings, marketing initiatives and partner events
• Deliver fund updates, investment insights and product education sessions to drive client engagement and asset growth
• Contribute to regional sales campaigns and business development initiatives aligned with firm‑wide strategy
• Work closely with internal investment, product, marketing and operations teams to deliver seamless client service
• Maintain accurate client activity records and pipeline management through internal systems
• Assist in strengthening the firm's wholesale franchise and brand presence in the SEA private banking market

Ideal Experience

• Strong experience within asset management, wealth management or financial services
• Background in wholesale sales, private bank coverage, relationship management or distribution‑focused roles
• Familiarity with the Global and Regional Private Bank business model in Southeast Asia
• Solid understanding of capital markets, investment products and portfolio concepts
