Description
We are working with a global advisory platform with a strong footprint across Asia, supporting financial institutions and investors on transactions, strategy, and transformation initiatives.Based in Hong Kong, the team partners with banks, insurers, asset managers, and private capital firms to deliver data-driven insights and hands-on execution across the deal lifecycle, including pre-deal analysis, transaction support, and post-deal value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and build models to support strategic and transaction-related projects.
- Take ownership of key deliverables, translating complex data into clear, client-ready presentations and insights.
- Support execution of initiatives such as operating model design, cost optimization, and M&A integration.
- Perform stakeholder analysis, process mapping, and client research to inform recommendations.
- Work closely with senior team members to deliver project workstreams and ensure timely execution.
- Assist in business development through research, proposal materials, and market insights.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy/development roles.
- Familiarity with areas such as due diligence, M&A execution, growth strategy, synergy Assessment, and post-merger integration. or operational transformation is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling and strategic analysis.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Prior exposure to financial services is required; experience in transactions, strategy, or transformation is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field; progress toward CFA is a plus.
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are beneficial.
