*Job Summary* This role serves as direct support to hospital finance team by providing financial and decision support across a wide range of service lines and serves as a liaison to system corporate stakeholders. This role assists in the collection and analysis of data on new projects or services, monthly-end reporting, capital management, labor productivity management, and budget planning. *Essential Functions of the Role* • Performs analysis of financial and operational data to administrators, department leaders, and others as directed or required to assist in the efficient and cost-effective operation of BSWH • Support capital management according to BSWH policy, including capital prioritization, pro forma development, and capital processing • Support the month-end close process by reviewing department financials to ensure accuracy of GL entries, data reporting, and variance analysis • Provides reporting support to management for labor productivity and benchmarking • Partners closely with operations to audit and ensure compliance with BSWH financial policies and processes • Conducts finance training for BSWH personnel as directed, including the use of BSW tools and platforms *Key Success Factors* • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills • Excellent time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Intermediate Excel skills • Knowledge of financial accounting required, healthcare experience preferred • Attention to detail • Self-starter in learning and using existing or new financial systems About Us Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
